Premium Japanese Mizuyokan (Red Bean Jelly) / 山田まんじゅう

A refreshing summer confection crafted by Yamadaya Manju, a confectionery established in 1867. This elegant mizuyokan is made using the same refined sweet bean paste that has made Yamadaya famous, blended with pure spring water from the Shikoku Karst to create a smooth yet satisfyingly firm texture.

Unlike traditional dense yokan, mizuyokan contains more water, resulting in a lighter, cleaner mouthfeel that melts gently on the palate. Whole simmered azuki beans are added to complement the silky strained bean paste, creating a beautiful contrast in texture and a rich yet delicate red bean flavor.
